Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Moniqo (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by OptiFi Technologies LLP (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. If you create an account on behalf of a family group, you confirm you have authority from each member you invite.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret. We strongly recommend enabling MFA.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at security@optifitechnologies.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to launder money, evade taxes, or commit fraud.
• Upload content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or in the UAE.
• Attempt to access another user’s data or break into our infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense the Service.

5. Your data, your records

You retain all rights to the financial data you upload. We claim no ownership. You grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and process that data only as necessary to operate the Service for you.

6. AI-generated insights

The Service may generate financial insights using third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) on data you have explicitly opted in to share. These insights are provided as informational suggestions only. They do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Verify any decision with a qualified advisor.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Financial calculations rely on the data you enter — verify your statements against the source records of your bank, employer, or other counterparty.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is currently provided free of charge for personal / family use, so this limitation may amount to zero in many cases. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or applicable law. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days (recoverable by support) and then permanently erased.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai. Final jurisdiction text pending legal review.
